Sunrise Manor is located in Virden, Illinois, just south of the metropolitan Springfield area. We are nestled on the edge of town with a field behind us and that “at home” country feeling inside. We are Medicare/Medicaid-certified. Our ninety-nine bed skilled/intermediate care facility opened its doors to the public on July 20, 1970. Our twenty-four hour professional team is committed to caring for the whole person. We attend to physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of each individual who lives with us. Our Administrator Patricia Barnes, LNHA, lives locally and has devoted 30 years to Sunrise Manor and its residents. “I have made a lot of friends over these past years, from residents who have joined our family here at Sunrise Manor.  It’s a good feeling to see them get well, especially when they get to go home!” There is many staff that has devoted 10 plus years promoting the resident’s health while making Sunrise Manor a safe and comfortable home for them. “I have also seen a lot of changes over the past 30 years, but what hasn’t changed is the truly caring people who work here.”
